A Lifesaver Bible Object Lesson
is Always in Good Taste!

Pass out a Lifesaver candy (Gummie or hard candy) to each kid. Now – follow with a review of how Jesus is our life saver!

Here is the cool, effective part.

Every time a kid sees or eats a Lifesaver candy they remember that Jesus is their life saver!

Jesus knew this and used common everyday things like figs, seeds or coins. (they hadn’t invented Lifesaver candies yet. )

Through the years I have used many visuals including food. Adults and kids have commented months or years later, anytime they see or use one of those objects, they still remember the lesson that was taught.

This is a powerful way to make God’s word stick…and in this case sticky!
