Do some or do them all! (based on skateboard terminology

Opening Match
starts the lesson off with a wrestling match skit that introduces the piece o’ armor or lesson theme

Pivots
(The lesson “pivots” around these main words and phrases. Repeat them through out the lesson using Power Point slides)

Pivot Trait
The lesson characteristic or virtue

Pivot Point
The main point of the lesson using the TRAIT within it

Pivot Verse
Children’s Bible verse

Pivot Skit
A visiting “over the top” character skit (Coach or Professor Snodgrass) that makes kids laugh and hear the main point from a different approach

Rampin’ Up
A springboard to the Bible Lesson Launch. Rampin’ Up is a large group, hands on activity or object lesson which introduces a concept using common everyday items that kids relate to.

Lesson Launch
The Bible lesson presented in creative ways that will captivate kids

Air Time
Small group environment where kids answer questions and connect with each other and the teacher

Relay
A large group relay race of some type which allows kids to have a blast and also reinforces the lesson truths.

Time to Thrash
Small or large group hands-on activities and games that reinforce the lesson while kids have a blast too!

Rematch
ends the lesson with a wrestling rematch skit that reinforces the lesson and introduces next week’s lesson topic

Final Spin
A large group final wrap up and review
